Glastonbury has moved the festival to next year due to coronavirus

Glastonbury has announced the cancellation of this year’s festival following the government’s COVID-19 measures.

This year was due to be Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary, but it will now take a fallow year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Festival organisers Emily and Michael Eavis announced the cancellation with the below statement, assuring current ticket holders that they can carry their deposit on to next year.

Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys, Sampa The Great, Dizzee Rascal, Fatboy Slim and more were due to play at Worthy Farm in June.
