Jason Rodwell began learning to DJ at the age of 16, enjoying the darker elements of electronic dance music and inspired by DJs such as Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Sven Vath, Technasia, Speedy J, Fergie and Phil Kieran at the legendary Shine events in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He played his first gig in 2008 and since then has played resident to two successful underground techno nights in RESONATE and EXILE, warming up for DJs such as Matthias Tanzmann and Louis Osborne. Jason has also played regularly as a guest for a host of clubs around the city as well as warming up for Fergie at the launch of his album 'Dynamite And Laserbeams' in Shine's sister club Stiff Kitten, Miniminds and Oscar Mulero.

When he isn't playing out Jason also produces a monthly techno podcast called the Rodcast, showcasing local talent and established guests such as Frankyeffe, Hugo Paixao, Dani Sbert, Fusky and Jet Project's T-Bone, as well as occupying numerous guest mix spots on local and national radio.

He specialises in the darker, more sinister end of the techno spectrum but enjoys mixing between styles and warming up the room also.
