Cream otherwise known as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz was born in Krakow, and currently lives in Yaroslavl. His father instilled him with the fascination of music, who from his earliest years taught him the music of The Beatels. The following years brought his childhood interest in music the new romantic (Thomson Twins, Duran Duran) and electropop (Depeche Mode, OMD). Chris, as a adolescence discovered electronic music (Kitaro, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre), which to a large extent shaped him musically.
In 1984, he played at his first event when on the dance floor music such as Eurodisco and italodisco prevailed. Six years later he became a resident of the first night club in Yaroslavl - Marashino. It was a place where the Cream perfectly realized and gained musical experience. In the mid-90s of the last century came the fascination with trance and house, which dominated music clubs a few years later. In 1996, Chris permanently attached with the Yaroslavl club Reno, which at that time was sort of the birthplace of house music in the region. During his nearly 10-year residency in Reno, he held a number of themed events, to which he invited Polish DJ leaders. During the 20 years spent in Yaroslavl, Cream played at almost all Jaros%u0142aw clubs, working alongside the local radio, as well as the sound designer, thus broadening his knowledge of sound engineering.
Since 2004 he has played in many clubs in Rzeszów, and permanently settled in Chilli Club, where for several years together with Nexy performs a series of events of alternative music - Night Session. In 2012, he joined the ranks of the Agency Sentence belonging to one of the best Polish DJs - Angelo Mike. Cream presented his guest sets on many radio stations such as Insomnia FM, Houseradio.pl and Four Polish Radio. From March 2010, he runs his own Terminal show, which presents a broad spectrum of progressive music. Recently, together with Nexy, he is working on a musical producer project, which in the future will see the light of day.
It's hard to classify the music style Chris. Currently, he oscillates around the border sounds of house, progressive, tech house and minimal techno. In his spare time he likes to relax by listening to a good chill out, classical music (Bach, Strauss, Beethoven), and jazz with Chris Botti at the helm.
After more than a quarter of a century spent in the role of a DJ, Cream can boldly say that music is his passion, which gives on endlessly.
