What did you want to be when you grew up?
Many things! A ballerina, a dentist, a writer, a designer.
What’s the worst club you've been to?
I don't remember the name but I flew into Switzerland and drove for a while to get there. It looked like a Resident Evil warehouse and scary fans kept breaking into the dressing room. It's an experience I won't be repeating!
What's been your worst job?
I have never actually had a job besides this one.
What are you obsessed with right now?
“Last Night” by The Strokes. I become re-obsessed with songs I used to love and can't stop listening to them to the point where they annoy me.
And what do you hate right now?
Planes.
When and where were you happiest?
Not sure. Every day is a new day, and you don't know what it holds. I definitely live in the moment if not looking to the future, so I like to think the best is to come.
How do you describe what you do to someone who doesn't know you?
I'm a punk at heart, with a passion for hip hop and I am surrounded by electro. I suck in my surroundings whether it be clothes, parties, love, hate. I think about it (and normally end up confused by it), and spit it out over sick beats.
What's the best record ever made?
Impossible! I am in constant evolution so it varies minute to minute.
What’s the coolest thing in your house?
My daughter.
What’s the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Pharrell told me to ignore the haters, to just keep going. If what you're doing feels right to you, then it is.
Who's your all-time hero and why?
I don't believe in heroes. You have to make things for yourself.
What do you collect - apart from records?
I'm not really into owning too many possessions - apart from clothes, possibly. My dream is to be able to fill two trunks with essentials so I can move when I want.
What’s your vice?
I drink way too much caffeine and smoke too much.
Who was your first love, and what happened?
That’s a secret. I waited years and years and finally just let it go.
What were you doing at 2pm last Sunday afternoon?
Sleeping on a bus.
What’s your answer to everything?
Dope.
On a scale of one to 10, how good are you in the sack?
It all depends on the partner, doesn't it. Sometimes you're like “Ahh it’s gonna be amazing", then you're disappointed; then I would be a zero. But if I am into it, the number definitely rises.
What’s your most prized possession that you've still got from when you were a kid?
My ballet shoes.
Have you ever had a homosexual experience?
I thought every girl has kissed a girl.
What was your last treat for yourself?
I am constantly losing my iPod so I just replaced it yet again!
What’s your drug of choice?
Crack from an alleyway in West Hollywood, of course!
What can't you live without?
Love.
What would you change about yourself if you could?
I would be able to tan, have thicker hair, maybe be taller. But then I wouldn't be me... so nothing.
What’s the worst item of clothing you've ever worn?
Pants with a license plate print. I'm sure the best is yet to come.
If you had a tardis, what time would you go back to?
The early seventies.
What’s your lamest claim to fame?
Being young and stupid and doing naughty photoshoots.
